  • User activity monitoring.

  • Behavior analytics and workforce intelligence.

  • Policy and rule enforcement for insider threat detection and data loss prevention.

Supported Platforms

On launch, the Agent supports the following distros on AMD64 architecture:

  • Ubuntu 24

  • Debian 13

  • Red Hat 9

Additional distributions will be supported in future releases.

How to Install

For download and installation instructions, check out the System > Download Agent section of the User Guide. If you are installing the Agent on a secure boot environment, check out this article.

Ability to Clone Dashboard Tabs

You can now clone tabs on custom dashboards by selecting the new Clone tab option from tab's Context Menu. The cloned tab is automatically named "Clone - [tab name]" and copies all original widgets and any filters applied to the widgets. This allows you to experiment with new layouts or compare configurations without recreating tabs and widgets from scratch.

Please note that while widget-level filters are preserved, dashboard-level filters do not carry over to the cloned tab.

For more information, check out the User Guide.

Independent Reconstructed Video Settings

Reconstructed Video now has its own dedicated setting within Monitoring Profiles, separating it entirely from Screen Recording. Administrators can now enable or disable this feature independently. This provides greater flexibility when configuring monitoring policies - particularly for macOS environments where screen recording notifications may be undesirable. Enjoy more granular control over your monitoring setup without compromising session visibility.

Improved Department Details Page

The Department Details page has been redesigned with consistent styling matching the Employees Details page, descriptive titles added to widgets. Also, an updated Activity tab with new chart widgets allows for better data visibility at a glance.

Other Improvements & Updates

  • Persistent Time Cards Widget Settings: Time Cards widget settings and display preferences now persist across navigation and sessions ensuring you have a more seamless and personalized dashboard experience without needing to reconfigure settings each visit.

  • Grouped Row Data Accuracy: Grid widgets that use Sum () and Avg () values now correctly include all grouped rows, instead of records with average values only. This ensures you see the complete picture when analyzing activity data - no missing applications, departments, or users in your reports.

  • Correct Coordinate Filter: The Geolocation > Coordinate filter on the Geolocation dashboard now shows actual coordinate values, enabling accurate location-based filtering and analysis.

  • Employee Profile - Legacy Cleanup: We have removed several Legacy settings from the Account tab on employee profiles to reduce confusion and streamline the interface. The removed options include Allow self-history playback, Allow viewing activity reports, and Can see own online presence. These are not supported yet or relevant in NextGen.

  • Widget UI Refinements: We’ve removed unnecessary padding around widgets to maximize data space on smaller screens, increased icon clickable areas to meet WCAG AA accessibility standards, and streamlined widget headers by removing redundant date range labels.

  • Behavior Rules Verbiage Update: Updated rule condition labels from "Day time active/idle/focused" to "Total time active/idle/focused" for clearer terminology that accurately reflects what is being measured.
