AI Usage Control: New Tabs
Available on the latest release of NextGen
The AI Usage Control dashboard is now organized into tabs, each focused on one part of AI governance. Each tab keeps its own pinned filters.
AI Chats: Shows the volume of outgoing messages, AI chats by employee split by AI tool type, and a grid of AI chat messages with a From column. The Date and Employee filters are pinned.
AI Application Usage: Shows AI usage by department and employee, the top AI apps, the top AI categories and usage events. A built-in Classification filter allows you to see only AI-specific applications.
AI Risk: Shows AI-related behavior alerts in one place. If you have not set them up yet, the tab can create and switch on the AI Usage policy and its rules for you.
Agentic AI: Shows alerts for AI agents such as OpenClaw, and the files those agents touch. The tab can create and switch on its own rules, and after you enable them, it tells you when alerts will start to appear.
AI Category in Grids and Widgets: AI Category can now be added as a column or dimension on activity, web file event and keystroke grids and widgets.
Productivity Dashboard: New Tabs
Available on the latest release of NextGen
The redesigned Productivity dashboard is now available on every account. It is organized into tabs, each answering a different question about how your workforce spends its time.
Overview: Shows KPI tiles for employees monitored, average active and productive hours per day and average productive time per day, plus average hours and productivity trends, productive and unproductive time by department and by location, the most and least productive employees, and a Productivity detail grid. Use the Employee, Department, App/Domain and Classification filters to narrow it down.
Time Worked: Shows total time worked and a breakdown of work time, so you can see how much time employees actually work and how it is spent.
Productivity Analysis: Shows average hours, a daily breakdown and the most and least productive employees, so you can spot top performers and day-to-day changes.
Remote Workforce Activity: Shows the employee engagement rate, work-related time by employee, non-work-related activities, an engagement heatmap, idle time from most to least, and an activity log, so you can see whether remote employees stay engaged.
Time Theft Identification/Prevention: Shows work-related and non-work-related time, total spend, engagement from low to high, logged work time, idle time and session data, so you can see where paid time is lost and what it costs.
Office-by-Office Performance Comparisons: Compares up to three offices side by side on engagement, app and site usage, idle time and rule violations. Customize each office's widgets to point them at the employees of that office.
Hybrid Workforce Monitoring: Compares in-office and remote employees on engagement and app and site usage, shows work-related and non-work-related usage, and includes an activity log.
ChatGPT Desktop App Support in Behavior Rules
You can now apply behavior rules to the ChatGPT desktop app. In a Content Sharing rule with AI Usage turned on, add an LLM Source condition and choose ChatGPT App, alongside ChatGPT Web, Gemini Web, Claude Web, Copilot Web, Claude Desktop, Google AI Mode and OpenClaw. Rules then fire on conversations in the desktop app the same way they do in the browser, extending your AI usage policies to employees who use ChatGPT outside the browser.
This feature is available on Windows only at the moment. Requires Windows Agent 26.31.4335 or later.
Password-Protected Video Download Links
Available on the latest release of NextGen
When you export a session recording, you can now choose how long its download link stays valid and protect it with a password. In the new Direct download options section, set Link expires in to 1 to 7 days and enter a Link password of at least 8 characters. Recipients get a direct download link that works without signing in, and they must enter the password before the download starts. Set the expiry to 0 to send the usual sign-in link instead. Each e-mailed link keeps its own expiry and password.
New Printing and Session Recording Links in Conversation Panel
Available on the latest release of NextGen
You can now print emails, instant messages and AI chats. Click a row in an Emails, Instant Messages or AI Chats grid to open its details, then click Print at the bottom of the panel. To print a whole AI chat, click View AI Conversation and use Print there, next to Export PDF and Export CSV.
Additionally, the AI Conversation panel now includes links to session recordings. Each message shows a video camera icon next to its timestamp; click it to open the Session Player and watch the employee's screen recording from the moment that message was sent.
Improved Employees and Computers Filters and Status
Available on the latest release of NextGen
Filters on the Employees and Computers pages are now All / Yes / No dropdowns instead of one-way checkboxes, so you can filter for either side, for example employees who are locked out or those who are not. On Employees, this applies to Locked out, Dashboard access and Archived. On Computers, Seen online offers All / At least once / Never, and Archived offers All / Yes / No. All filters narrow the list together.
Also, Enable Monitoring now shows what it changed. If you do not have enough licenses, it tells you how many employees were left unlicensed, with a Show unlicensed link to see who they are. It also tells you how many archived employees will be monitored once restored, and how many archived computers it restored.
Full URL in Activity Log Exports
Columns chosen in an employee's Activity Log Report Settings, including Full URL, are now included in CSV and PDF exports, so exports match what you see on screen.
KPI Widgets in PDF Exports
Manual and scheduled dashboard PDF exports now include KPI indicator widgets, such as Employees monitored, shown as cards with their title and value.
Legacy Parity: Dashboard Migration
Available on the latest release of NextGen
Dashboards created in Teramind Legacy now keep their chart colors (heatmap colors, bar and line palettes) and their LDAP attribute and AD group filters when opened in NextGen. Before, a red risk heatmap could turn green and those filters were ignored.
Other Updates and Improvements
Live Player Search: Search in the player's Log of Events now shows only the matching items on the Activities, Alerts and Tags tabs, and searches every line an item shows. Before, the Tags tab had no search, and on the other tabs search only highlighted matches.
Widget Descriptions: You can add a description when you create or edit a widget. It shows as an info icon next to the widget's title, and you hover over the icon to read it. Descriptions written in Teramind Legacy show as well.
"All" in Pickers: Long employee and computer pickers now have an All option, website rules offer All browsers, and dashboards can be shared with Everyone, so you no longer need to pick or share items one by one.
Combined Value Picker: Wherever you pick applications, websites or other list values, for example in behavior rule conditions, there is now a single box instead of two. Select a shared list from it, or type your own value and press Enter.
IP History Tab: The IP History tab on a computer's details now has a date filter, loads more rows as you scroll, and exports with the page's Export button.
Heatmap Widgets: When a heatmap has more days than fit in the widget, the rows now scroll and an overview strip shows the full range. Hour labels are easier to read, and hovering shows the hour as a time.
Computers Offline Widget: The widget counts computers that were seen within one period but not within a shorter, more recent one. You can now set both periods. Before, they were fixed: seen in the last 30 days but not in the last 6 days.
Agent Install E-mails: The Mac steps in agent install e-mails now link the same installer as the Download Agent page, include a matching Terminal command, and state macOS 12.7.6 as the minimum version.
Shared List Names in Behavior Alert Triggers: When a behavior rule fires because text matched a shared list, the alert's Triggers text now names the list that matched instead of showing an internal ID. This applies to the Alerts page, the Behavior Alerts report and its CSV export, and also to existing alerts. No agent or server upgrade is needed.

Dashboard Filters: Fixed an issue where the Web File Events and Social Media dashboards showed File Size and Toxicity Level filters that could not be used.
Layout Issues: Fixed misaligned Exclude and Delete buttons in widget filters, duplicated tiles on the Use Case Catalog dashboard, and long employee names stretching the Behavior Policies table.
