How to update the Teramind Agent remotely

⚠️ Antivirus Exclusion

Please make sure to add the Temporary Exclusions to your antivirus or EDR software before updating the Agent. Failure to do so may cause the security software to interfere with and block the update process.

Manual Update (On-Premise Deployments)

You can update the Agents on one or multiple computers simultaneously directly from the Computers screen in your Teramind Dashboard:

1. Select Computers from the main menu.

2. Select one or more computers by clicking the Checkbox in front of a computer's name.

3. An Actions menu will be shown near the top-left corner. From the menu select Update Agent.

3. Click the Apply button.

Automatic Update (Cloud Deployments)

For Teramind Cloud deployments, you can enable the Agent automatic updates option from the Configurations > Settings > Agents screen in your Teramind Dashboard:

1. From the main menu, navigate to Configurations > Settings.

2. Go to the Agents tab.

3. Toggle the Enable automatic updates option to ON.

Verifying Teramind Agent Updates

After initiating a manual or automatic update, you can confirm that the new Agent version has been successfully installed from the Computers screen in your Teramind Dashboard:

1. Select Computers from the main menu.

2. Locate the Agent Version column in the displayed list of computers. Note: if you don't see this column, click the Grid icon to add it to the report.
