Cloud Deployments
The System > Deployment screen serves as the central administrative hub for managing the vital technical and financial aspects of your Teramind Cloud instance. It provides a comprehensive overview of your service health, security protocols, and network requirements to ensure the platform operates efficiently across your organization.
Subscription
The Subscription area provides a snapshot of account health by tracking current license usage and active plan details. It acts as a management hub where you can handle renewals, adjust subscription levels, and update billing information to ensure uninterrupted service.
Support PIN
Under the Support PIN section, you will be able to renew your support PIN. A support PIN is a temporary access code that allows Teramind support engineers to access your dashboard for providing technical assistance. If Teramind Support needs to access your account to assist you with a support inquiry, we will always ask for your permission, and we will ask you to give us access by sending us this PIN.
Server & Port
The Server & Port section outlines the technical configurations necessary for maintaining a stable connection between monitored endpoints and the dashboard. It lists the specific hostnames and communication ports that must be whitelisted in a network’s firewall to allow data to flow securely to the cloud.
On-Premises/Private Cloud Deployments
The System > Deployment screen for On-Premises/Private Cloud installations serves as the primary administrative dashboard for managing the technical foundations of your self-hosted Teramind instance. It provides essential visibility into licensing status, deployment specifications, and specific versioning for all installed components.
Subscription
The Subscription section directs you to the external management interface required for self-hosted environments. Rather than displaying direct billing details, it provides a quick link to the Self-Hosted Portal, where users can manage you subscription, handle billing information, and review account-level financial details outside of the local monitoring dashboard.
About your deployment
This section offers a comprehensive overview of the active license and its operational limits. It displays unique identifiers like the Hardware ID, tracks license Entitlements for endpoints and session hosts, and identifies the specific Solution tier currently in use. This area is vital for monitoring the Expiration date to ensure continuous coverage and allows for license key updates as needed.
Software
The Software section provides a detailed breakdown of the Installed components currently powering the instance. It lists the specific version numbers for the Server, Schema, and UI, along with the compatible versions for both Windows and macOS agents. This technical snapshot is critical for troubleshooting and ensuring all parts of the deployment are up to date and synchronized.
Information About Endpoints
You can access information regarding your organization's users and endpoints from the Employees and Computers screens.
Employees Screen
The Employees screen provides a detailed list of all users and other accounts. This screen is useful for tracking monitoring status, online status, security (e.g., if 2FA is enabled), licensed/unlicensed employees and more.
Computers Screen
The Computers screen focuses on the endpoints (computers) added to your Teramind instance. From here, you can monitor the OS type and version of each computer, installed Agent details, IP addresses, etc.
