How to let an employee view their own dashboard

Updated over 3 weeks ago

You can provide employees with limited access to the Teramind Dashboard, allowing them to view their own monitoring data and productivity reports.

Why enable employee dashboard access?

Granting employees access to their own data can be a powerful tool for organizational growth. It fosters a culture of transparency and trust, as team members can see exactly what is being monitored. Furthermore, it empowers employees to take ownership of their performance; by reviewing their own productivity trends, they can identify personal distractions, manage their time more effectively, and proactively improve their workflow without needing constant managerial feedback.

How to enable employee dashboard access

To set this up, you simply enable the User can login to Teramind Dashboard option within the employee's profile (under the Account tab):

1. Select Employees from the main menu.

2. Click on an employee’s name (for example, "Adam Sandler") to open the Employee Details page:

3. Click the Edit Profile button. The Edit Profile panel will open on the right side of the screen:

4. From the Accounts tab, enable the User can login to Teramind Dashboard option.

Customizing What the Employee Can View

You can use the additional toggles on the Account tab to determine exactly which features or reports the employee can see. For instance, enabling the Allow viewing activity reports option grants the employee access to their "Applications & Websites" dashboard. You can further extend or restrict an employee’s permissions beyond these basic settings by using Access Control Policies.
