What is the trial approval process for On-Premises deployment?

After you have signed up for an On-Premises trial, here is a step-by-step guide to what happens next:

1. Trial Request Review

Once you submit your application, your information will be reviewed by one of our onboarding specialists to ensure the On-Premises deployment is the right fit for your organization.

2. Welcome Email & Intro Call

Once the trial is approved, you will receive a welcome email shortly*. The email will provide you with two ways to get started:

  • Book an Intro Call: You can schedule a 15-minute introductory call with a Product Specialist. During this meeting, they will explain key features, answer your technical questions, and activate your deployment.

  • Fast-Track Activation: If you do not require a walkthrough, simply reply "I'm Ready" to the email.

*If you do not receive the welcome email within 3 business days, please contact our sales team.

3. Accessing the Self-Hosted Portal

As soon as your trial is activated (either after your intro call or your "I'm Ready" response), you will receive an automated invitation to our Self-Hosted Portal.

From the portal, you can download the essential components for your trial:

  • The VM image for your specific environment.

  • The Monitoring Agent installer.

  • Your unique trial license key:

4. Deploying the Server

If you are using a self-hosted model, this guide will help you deploy and configure your Teramind server.

5. License Activation

After deploying your server, you must enter your license key into the Teramind Dashboard. For step-by-step instructions, please check out this article.

6. Ongoing Support & Resources

Once your trial begins, you will be added to our onboarding email list. You will receive regular updates regarding product features, best practices, and links to useful resources to help you maximize the value of the platform.

7. Post-Trial Next Steps

If you have not upgraded to a paid subscription or opted out of our communications by the end of the trial period, a Sales Representative will reach out to assist you with the purchase process and answer any final questions.
