Introduction to Locations
The Locations screen allows you to create location profiles. Teramind will then use the location profile to match a user’s geolocation coordinates and network information (e.g., Wi-Fi SSIDs) to determine if the user is in a particular location, such as working from home or located in a certain branch office, etc.
1. New Location button: allows you to create a new location.
2. Click the Three Dots to access a location’s Context menu:
Edit Location: to edit the position. You can also click the Edit
icon (under the Actions column) to edit the location. Editing a location is similar to creating a new location.
Clone Location: to duplicate/copy a location.
Archive Location: to archive (delete) the location.
Creating a New Location
1. Click the General Info tab.
2. Give the location a name.
3. Enter an address or click on the map to automatically pick up the address.
4. Enter the Radius and select if it will be in Meters, Miles, or Kilometers. The Radius determines how much radius (area) will be covered using the latitude and longitude as the center point. This is similar to the Error Radius in the Geolocation dashboard.
Optionally, enter a description for the location.

At this point, you can click the Submit button and save the location. However, if you want to precisely track the users' locations using their network access points, you can continue with the next steps:
6. Click the Access Points tab.
7. Click the Add Access Point button to add an access point:
8. Give the access point a name.
9. Specify its SSID. You can find it in your OS’s network settings.
10. Specify its MAC address. You can find it in your OS’s network settings.
11. To discard the access point, click the Discard button.
12. Click the Apply button. The access point will be added:
13. To add another access point, click the Add Access Point button.
14. To edit or remove an access point, click the Three Dots and select Edit Access Point or Remove Access Point.
15. Click the Submit button to save the location.
