Release 26.25.1 (2026-06-11)

Microsoft Entra ID Directories Integration Now Available!

We're excited to announce the release of the Microsoft Entra ID Directories integration - enabling you to connect Teramind directly to your organization's Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) environment.

This integration eliminates the need to manually manage employee and group data within Teramind by automatically syncing your existing cloud directory. Your Teramind monitoring environment can now stay in step with your organizational structure with minimal ongoing effort.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Automated User & Group Sync: Pulls employee and group data from Entra ID daily or on demand via manual sync.

  • Flexible Extraction Rules: Control exactly what gets imported using an "Exclude by Default" model with conditions like field matching, regex, and list membership.

  • Data Mapping & Transformation: Map, normalize, and reformat directory fields as they flow into Teramind, including dynamic templates and regex transforms.

  • Monitoring Automation: Automatically enable or disable monitoring for synced users based on directory attributes.

  • Department & Position Assignment: Automatically create and assign departments and positions (job titles) based on directory attributes or group memberships.

  • Rule Priority Control: Process rules in a defined order to resolve conflicts; adjust priority anytime.

  • Non-Destructive One-Way Sync: Teramind only reads from your directory. Nothing is written back to Entra ID, and imported data persists even if the integration is removed.

How to Use the Feature

You can create and manage the Entra ID integration from the System > Integrations screen. Check out the User Guide for more details.

The integration currently supports up to 10,000 licensed users. If your organization has more users, please contact [email protected].

UX Improvements & Updates

Ability to Manually Rearrange Behavior Policies

You can now organize behavior policies by using the new Move Up and Move Down options available from the policy's context menu. This makes it easier to keep your policy list structured and organized, so the right policies are always easy to find and manage.

Improved Conversation Display

The styling, formatting and markdown features are improved in the Conversation text found under dashboards such as Instant Message and AI Usage, making them much cleaner and easy to distinguish sender/receiver, prompt/response, etc. This makes it faster to review and interpret monitored conversations, reducing the time spent parsing raw data.

Updated Session Player Navigation

We've reorganized Session Player controls so that Play, Rewind/Fast Forward (speed control), and Skip buttons are closer together for easy navigation, while Live view controls are centered for easy access. This reduces friction during session reviews and live monitoring, helping investigators move through recordings more efficiently.
