Release 26.7.2 (2026-02-17)

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Access Control Permission for Session Player Tags

We've introduced a dedicated View and manage player tags permission within Access Control. This enhancement gives you precise control over which users can view and manage tags in the Session Player. When this permission is enabled for a policy, users under that policy can work with player tags; when it is disabled, the Tags tab is hidden in the Session Player. This update aligns the NextGen dashboard experience with the existing behavior in the Legacy dashboard.

How to Use the Feature

  1. Navigate to the Access Control menu.

  2. Create or edit an Access Control.

  3. Create or edit the relevant Policy.

  4. Select Play.

  5. Under the Screen steam resource, add the View and manage player tags option.

  6. Select the Resources (e.g., users or groups) to which the policy will apply.

  7. Save the policy and the access control.
