Is Teramind Cloud multi-tenant?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

No, Teramind Cloud is not a multi-tenant system in the traditional sense.

While many SaaS (Software as a Service) providers use a shared architecture where multiple customers reside on the same database and server, Teramind utilizes a single-tenant approach for its cloud deployment to prioritize security and data privacy.

This means:

  • Dedicated Instances: Each customer has a dedicated server instance and load balancing, reducing the risk of "noisy neighbor" issues where one user's high resource consumption slows down others.

  • Isolated Databases: Your data is never mixed with another company's data at the database level.

Notes About MSP Deployments

In this specific scenario, Teramind provides a management layer that allows a single provider to manage multiple separate client instances from one dashboard. However, even in this setup, each end-customer still has their own dedicated database and server environment. The MSP can manage all clients, but the clients themselves remain isolated from one another.
