Teramind does not record webcam video directly. However, it provides full visibility into how and when webcams are used within applications.
The Camera Usage Dashboard identifies which cameras are are being used and which applications are utilizing them. You can also create Camera Usage Rules to trigger specific actions based on the camera name or the application in use. For example, you can configure the system to start recording automatically the moment a meeting app like Zoom or MS Teams is launched.
While this feature does not capture the actual video feed or audio from the camera hardware itself, you can still monitor the session if Screen Recording and Audio monitoring is enabled. In these instances, Teramind captures the user's desktop activity (including the video call window) and the system audio while the camera is active.
