This feature is available on On-Premises/Private Cloud deployments only.

The Storage screen displays usage statistics for various internal volumes and lets you set thresholds and alerts for when those volumes reach specific capacity limits.

Status:

1. This section displays usage statistics for the three types of storage volumes utilized by Teramind:

  • Primary volume usage: Indicates the size and usage of the main system volume, which typically hosts the Teramind database.

  • Recording volume usage: Shows the status of the screen recording volume. You can manage this usage by adjusting your screen recording settings and retention policies. For more details, check this article.

  • Total nodes usage: Provides information regarding the OCR/TeraServer nodes.

Minimum space threshold:

2. The Minimum space threshold field is where you instruct Teramind to stop recordings once the available space reaches the specified limit. Enter a value in the field and then select MB or % as the unit.

Note: Teramind will automatically disable recordings at 500 MB regardless of your setting.

Email minimum space threshold:

3. The Email minimum space threshold field determines the point at which an email alert is triggered. Enter a value in the field (you can’t select the unit; it’s determined by Minimum space threshold). Note that the value must be equal to or greater than the Minimum space threshold. Setting this value to “0” will disable the email alert.

Email addresses to be notified on storage limitations:

4. Use this field to specify the recipients for the Email minimum space threshold alert. You can turn off email notifications completely by leaving this field empty.

You can temporarily disable these notifications by clicking the Notifications disabled for 12 hours button.
