The Dashboard Exports screen lists every dashboard and report export created on the instance (e.g., from the Dashboard Export menu), with its status, and lets you download finished files, cancel exports still in progress, and control how long each file is kept.
1. Filters: Use the date range selector to show only exports created within the selected period, and the Only ready to download checkbox to hide every export that has not finished yet, leaving only completed files you can download.
2. Refresh: Click this button to reload the list with the latest export statuses.
3. Grid Menu: Click the Grid
icon to select which columns are shown on the exports table. Here are the available columns and their descriptions:
Creator: The user who requested the export.
Created At: The date and time the export was requested.
Export Status: The current state of the export. In Progress means the file is still being generated; Completed means it is ready to download. Exports that were stopped or could not be generated show as cancelled or failed.
File Name: The name of the generated file. It includes the dashboard or report name, the computers and employees in scope, and the exported date range. The extension shows the file format (.csv, .pdf, or .zip for multi-file exports).
Scheduled: True when the export was created automatically by a scheduled export; False when it was requested manually.
Persistent: Whether the file's retention is extended. See below.
4. Export Context Menu: Click the Three Dots ⋮ in front of an export to access its context menu. From the context menu, you can:
Download – saves the finished file to your computer. Available only for completed exports.
Cancel – stops an export that is still in progress.
Delete – removes the export record and its file from the server.
5. Persistent: A completed export file is kept on the server for 7 days by default and then removed automatically. Turn this toggle on to extend the file's retention to 30 days; turn it off to return to the 7-day period. The toggle is available only on completed exports. Export files expire on their own schedule, independent of your data retention policy: the underlying monitoring data is kept for the duration of your data retention plan and can be exported again at any time within that window.
