Introduction to AI Configuration

The AI Configuration screen shows the curated list of AI applications and websites that Teramind uses to classify AI usage on the AI Usage Control dashboard, along with the AI category assigned to each one. The list is maintained by Teramind and is read-only. Applications and websites that are not on the list are treated as non-AI usage and appear as Uncategorized on the dashboard.

1. Search application or domain: Enter an application or domain name to filter the list (e.g., claude, chatgpt.com).

2. Category: Select an AI category to show only the applications and websites in that category, or select All categories to show the full list. The available categories are AI Desktop Apps, AI Websites, and Agentic Browsers.

3. AI Application Categorization grid: Lists each AI application or website with the following columns:

  • Application / Domain: The process name of a desktop application (e.g., claude.exe, cursor.app) or the domain of a website (e.g., chatgpt.com).

  • Type: Whether the item is a Desktop app or a Website.

  • Category: The AI category assigned to the application or website.

4. Summary line: Shows the total number of applications, the number of categories, and the version of the list (e.g., 456 applications across 3 categories (dictionary v5.3)).
